Everyday Yoga includes Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. We can do these regularly. You can see benefits at the physical and mental levels. So, what are the benefits? How can we include Yoga in our busy schedule? And how to make a habit of yoga? You can read all about these in this article.

BENEFITS OF YOGA:

Discuss the benefits as below:

ASANAS: Asanas are a physical exercise of a body with body formations. You can perform them slowly and like cardiac exercises. But slow movements of asanas help your body and mind.

· Asanas provide physical strength and relaxation.

· It helps you to lose weight: when you perform 50–100 Surya-namaskars or follow yoga regularly, you can lose weight.

· Increase your physical stamina.

· You start your day with a positive attitude.

· Yoga regulates your digestive, excretory, nervous, and muscular systems.

· Asanas help us to treat irritable bowel syndrome, polycystic ovarian disease, menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, and thyroid issues.

PRANAYAMA: In a simple language, pranayama means to focus on your breath; inhale and exhale through alternate nostrils with an intention.

· It helps to strengthen your breathing system. It increases inhalation of oxygen and utilization of the same through the lung system.

· This is helpful for allergic rhinitis, and asthma patients.

· It increases your concentration level.

· Pranayama also helps us to increase our physical stamina.

· It helps to channel your energy in the morning.

MEDITATION: Meditation means, sitting in one place, trying to live in those present moments, and ignoring unwanted thoughts. This is the most important thing we must do in our life nowadays.

· It helps you to focus on present moments.

· It increases your positive attitude towards life and teaches you how to avoid unwanted thoughts.

· Meditation helps to increase your emotional quotient and mental strength.

HOW DO INCLUDE YOGA IN DAILY LIFE?

If you have 15–20 minutes per day for yourself, then it is quite easy to make it routine.

- Do asanas, meditation, and pranayama on Saturday and Sunday. On weekends it is easy to make 40–45 minutes for your health.

OR

- Every day 15–20 minutes are dedicated to different forms of yoga. The below table gives you a rough idea for 20 minutes of yoga. You can try different poses.

TUESDAY

6 SURYANAMSKARA, COBRA POSE WITH CURVED HANDS, PAVANMUKTASANA (wind relieving pose), ARDHAMATSENDRASAN (seated twist pose), TRIKONASANA (Triangle pose). KAPALBHATI, MEDITATION.

WEDNESDAY

12 SURYANAMSKARA, DHANURASANA (back bending asana), UTHITTA DWIPADPADASANA, PADMASANA YOGMUDRA, EKPADHASTASANA. 5 OMKARA CHANTING, MEDITATION.

THURSDAY

6 SURYANAMSKARA, KOBRA POSE, SHALBHASANA (grasshopper pose), ARDHCHAKRASANA, ARDHMANSENDRASANA, TRIKONASANA, KAPALBHATI, MEDITATION.

FRIDAY

12 SURYANAMASKARA, DHANURASANA, PAVANMUKTASANA, PASHIMOTTASANA (seated forward bend), VEERASANA, BREATHING EXERCISE, 5 OMKARA CHANTING, MEDITATION.

- Most important eat healthy food.

HOW TO MAKE A HABIT OF YOGA?

· We all know the habit rule: if you do one thing continuously at a peculiar time for 21 days, then that thing becomes your habit.

· Try YOGA for 21 days and see the result.
